The lush green paddy fields in TN enroute from Chennai to Tirumala. 

Srikalahasti.

The southern sun beats down hard on the temple town of Sri Kalahasti, about 35 Kms away from Tirumala. The dry river bed of the Swarnamukhi river accentuates the water problem in this region.

Palmystery

The coconut palms on Majorda Beach, Goa, glowed by the dipping sun, the stark grey monsoon laden cloudy sky in the backdrop, lend an almost mysterious depth to the image.

This was on 07Sep2006. The moon is almost resurgent after the eclipse when I finally got it right. 1/60s & f/11.0

I need a better boat, but this is inspiration.

Goa - The prelude.

A balmy tuesday afternoon we landed in Goa. Immediately hit the beach to enjoy the famously serene sands & the calm sea. was as much an outing for my fujifilm s9000 as much as it was for me. The Sony DSC-P2 getting a well deserved break, with less demanding users - my parents...
This is a shot of the dead coral that washes up the shores. They make a crunchy cracking sound under the feet. sooothingggg!!!!!
